WELCOME to the Voting Integrity Project
Conference 2000 Scrapbook!
Over two hundred participants gathered for two days of intensive discussion and debate that was unparalleled. This gathering of election officials, public officials, citizen activists, election attorneys, candidates, academics and students represented a first for VIP and for the country. The reviews were outstanding!
"I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on such a good conference on elections. I've been attending election conferences for over 15 years and this was one of the most informative meetings I have ever been to on the topic of elections in the U.S. You provided balanced and articulate speakers on timely topics." -- Paul deGregorio, St Louis, Missouri
Many unique presentations were given, touching on controversial and timely issues that are being ignored in other venues. . .

"Voting via the Internet could be a useful tool in increasing voter turnout, but also has the potential to widen the political gap between the country's haves and its have-nots", according to former Virginia Gov. L. Douglas Wilder, April 1, 2000.
